About L-S Friends of Music

The Lincoln-Sudbury Friends of Music is a parent-led organization dedicated to providing funding, programs, and opportunities which complement and extend the instrumental and vocal music curriculum at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. We raise funds, provide logistical support, publicize music events, and advocate for a strong, vibrant program within the Lincoln-Sudbury community. Friends of Music provides funding for:

• Master classes and guest artists
• Commissioned works (for our musical groups)
• Needs-based scholarships for private music instruction
• Travel to competitions/performances
• Purchase of instruments/music not funded by school budget

Friends of Music seeks to provide balanced funding for enrichment opportunities that address the needs and interests of music students at L-S.
Friends of Music welcomes all families of music students at L-S.

How You Can Help L-S Friends of Music

• Join Friends of Music and attend monthly meetings
• Volunteer to help at music events
• Support music at L-S by attending concerts
• Sponsor a choral dress or tuxedo
• Donate money to the annual fund

Currently the Friends of Music (FOM) board is looking to fill a several important board positions vacant this year. Thus, we are actively seeking parents to fill the positions of:

• Fundraising Chair
• Concession Chair
• Music/Computer Technician

Filling these roles promptly will be essential to keeping LSFOM up and running. In this climate of budget cuts a program like this is very important in order to maintain a healthy music program for our students. Please consider taking an active role.
